| Lancia 3Ro is an Italian military and civilian truck from the interwar period, World War II and the post-war period. The production of the vehicle was carried out in the years 1938-1950. The 3Ro model was developed as an extension of Lancia's previous Ro and Ro-Ro trucks. Compared to its predecessors, it differed primarily in a different, larger and more powerful drive unit, but also in a significantly improved gearbox. The car was also characterized by a simple and solid construction, it was also relatively easy to use and manufacture. For these reasons, the Lancia 3Ro was one of the basic trucks of the Italian army during the Second World War. It was used both during the war with Greece (1940-1941), the campaign in the Balkans in 1941 and during the fighting in North Africa (1940-1943). |
