| The Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker designed in 1925 the first passenger plane with three engines. The F.VII could carry 8-12 passengers and was the choice of many airlines in Europe and America. Its most famous variant performed in 1928 a super-distance flight over the Pacific Ocean from San-Francisco (USA) to Brisbane (AUS) |
