Tu-134UBL is a training aircraft developed by the Tupolev airline in the early 1980s. The design was based on the successful model of the Tu-134 passenger aircraft with a pair of engines located at the rear. Unlike the standard version, the Tu-154 UBL had a special nose and radom, which were to simulate the supersonic bombers Tu-22M3 and Tu-160. The purpose of this machine is to train bomber pilots in navigation, landing and flying according to sensors in simple and demanding weather conditions. In addition, the Tu-134UBL can train up to 12 cadets at a time, as they all fit in 3-row cabin seats. A total of 90 machines were produced.
