Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German Blohm & Voss BV 222 Wiking, a cargo flying boat introduced in 1941. Only 13 units were completed, being the largest German flying boat of the war.
Revell kit tooled in 2002 and released several times since then. This new release just adds a new decal sheet, with two markings including a German one and a captured example dated 1945 in Norway.
Kit consists of 282 parts, not suitable for beginners. Kit brings a good detail, with option to build open engines maintenance doors. Once built measures over 50cm length and 63cm wingspan. |
