More info

The Border Model 1/35 scale model kit allows you to assemble a highly detailed plastic model of the Chinese main battle tank PLA ZTZ-100. The model depicts a modern tank designed for the People's Liberation Army, also known as Type 98 or, in newer export versions, Type 99. The ZTZ-100 is an advanced armored vehicle that combines high mobility, an effective weapon system, and modern protective features.

Technical Information about the Original Vehicle

The PLA ZTZ-100 is a main battle tank developed in the late 1990s. It is equipped with a smoothbore 125 mm gun with an automatic loading system, enabling rapid and accurate fire at long ranges. The vehicle's armor consists of advanced composite armor and reactive modules, providing increased protection against shaped charges and shrapnel. Powered by a robust diesel engine, it can reach a maximum speed of approximately 80 km/h off-road and 70 km/h on roads. The tank is fitted with modern observation and targeting systems, such as night vision, thermal imaging, and a fire control computer, enhancing operational effectiveness both day and night.
