| The Sukhoi Su-20 is a Soviet fighter-attack aircraft with variable wing geometry, an export version of the Su-17. Both planes (Su-17 and Su-20) were very similar to each other. However, they differed in the drive used - the Lulka AL-21F engine was used on the Su-20. In the USSR, such a modernization of the Su-17 was designated the Su-17M, which was designated as the Su-20 as an export aircraft. A reconnaissance version-Su-20R was also created. This machine found its way primarily to Poland (from 1974), where it served in the 7th Bomber and Reconnaissance Brigade in Powidz. During operation, Polish Aviation adapted its Su-20 planes to carry KKR reconnaissance containers.
