Zvezda 3617 1:35 Ba-10 Soviet Armored Car

Production of the BA-10 armored car began in 1938. The basis of its construction was based on a three-axle GAZ-AAA truck, but the body consisted of plates of rolled armor. On its rear hull was mounted a turret with a 45 mm cannon and another part of the armament was also a 7.62 mm DT machine gun. It was located in the cab next to the driver. The crew of this car had 4 men. The Soviet army made extensive use of these machines during the Winter War with Finland in 1940 and also on the Eastern Front at the beginning of World War II. However, a significant amount of BA-10 was captured by the German army and then used as command and reconnaissance vehicles.
